Graphic Instructions

When laying out your files:

In Adobe Illustrator - Create one file per graphic. If graphic size is larger than the art board size, work in proportion. For example if graphic is 30''x90'', work half size at 15''x45''. Create murals on one page. Do not tile onto different pages. Work in CMYK, create all text to outlines and include all placed images (like TIF or JPEG). Please provide "bleed" in the layout. Indicate any critical colors using PMS colors. Please note that colors will vary from file to printing substrate.

In Adobe Photoshop - Create one file per graphic. Create murals on one page, do not tile onto different pages. Work in CMYK. Please flatten file when completed so as not to cause confusion with fonts or hidden layers. Please provide "bleed" in the layout. Indicate any critical colors using PMS colors. Create files half size at 300dpi or full size at 150dpi. Files can be saved as a JPEG maximum quality, TIFF, or psd. Please note that colors will vary from file to printing substrate.

Please include with your order - A hard copy of the layout or a PDF file for visual proofing. Name and Phone number of the appropriate graphics contact person, so as to resolve any issues quickly and correctly. If a CD is provided please organize your files in a proper folder to prevent the use of wrong files.

File set-up and handling charges may apply to files that do not conform to our specifications. Specific color matches are subject to an additional fee.

Supported software for Mac and PC:
- Adobe Illustrator CS3 or earlier
- Adobe Photoshop CS3 or earlier
- InDesign CS3 or earlier
- Adobe Acrobat 5 (PDF)

Using a browser (Internet Explorer on PC only): Click on the following link or enter it into the browser address line: ftp://exhibeonline.com/incoming (drag and drop the files into the "incoming" directory window.

Using FTP client* (Mac or PC): Create a new connection and enter the following information in the “new connection” dialog box:

Host (or Server): exhibeonline.com
User Name: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
Initial Folder (or Initial Path): incoming
Drag your files into the “incoming” directory window.

Note: Not all FTP clients provide a field for an initial folder. If yours does not, just connect without it then double click on the “incoming” folder in the ftp directory window. If you do not have an FTP client program on your computer, a free program is available to download for any platform at:
http://filezilla-project.org/download.php

*FTP clients include Fetch, Transmit, Filezilla, Core FTP, and CoffeeCup Direct FTP, among others - When upload completed please email us at graphics@exhibeportable.com with the file name and size.
